This book was pretty good. It's about this girl, Desert, who's father is the lead singer in this really popular band. So everywhere they go, there's always someone trying to use her to get something like backstage passes. so it basically about her trying to deal with the problems that come with her life and finally understand how lucky she is.

This story seems kind of like a fantasy at first in that the main character, Desert, is the daughter of a famous rock star, but she has the same things to deal with as many teens today, so that makes Backstage Pass even more enjoyable. It is basically a story about a girl growing up and dealing with the very real problems in life while within the seemingly dream-like life of being the daughter of a rock icon.

This is a cute book, and it let's you see what it may be like as the child of a very famous band. The main character is realistic, as far as being the child of a rock star goes, and the people around her are real as well. This is a pretty good light-hearted (kinda) read.

I highly recommend this book. It's about a girl named Jasmine who finds herself in all the wrong places at all the wrong times. She and her friends (and her annoying cousin/cousin's friend) end up investigating some suspicious goings-on and stumble on to the attempted coverup of a serious crime. Can they alone stop the coverup from commencing? Very funny, with plenty of humor and commentary by the characters themselves.

This movie is about how Bruce Wayne became Batman. Some of the parts in the do not make any sense and the bad guy in this movie is Scarecrow. Scarecrow wasn't all that of a villian in this movie either. But I personally think it was okay, Spiderman and the Fantastic Four beat this, no questions asked. But in the end it does tell you what the second movie's villan will be...The Joker!

This is a super teffific book. It is unpredictable and will keep you reading! I read it in three days. It's not very long and is great for teen readers. It's about a kid who wants to be cool and buys a squip, which is a mini-telecommunications pill that he swallows. It talks to him from inside his brain and tells him exactly everything about how to be cool. I definitely reccommend this book to anyone who is looking for a great read!!

This book had a cool idea--about swallowing a pill with a supercomputer inside that went straight to your brain and told you what to do to be cool. However, maybe this was too much of a "guy" book for me, because I didn't really like it. It was just kind of strange, I thought. Oh well, decide for yourself, this is just my opinion after all.

The first time I read it, I didn't finish it. The improper English does not help the reader comprehend the book. After the first hundred pages or so, the book slowly begins to pick up speed coming to a close with a dramatic but predictable ending. The ending was by far the best part and one of the few interesting parts of the entire book. Jack Faber, however, is a unique one of a kind character that I have never seen the equal to in spunk, brains, and spirit. A good read for a girl in middle school.

This book is about a young teenager that doesn't know her parents because she is in an orphanage for kids to get adopted to nice families. This teenager goes and has a best friend that is in the same sitution as her so they are really good friends. They go everywhere together. Where ever he goes she goes too. Sorry I'm not saying anymore, because I want the reader to find out what else happens in this book. For people that love to read, you should go to the libray or to the book store and get it.

This is a really realistic story about not only the changes people can go through in high school but also about how breast cancer can change people as well. It's from the view of the daughter of the person with breast cancer. I really loved this book. It starts out slow but then it will really pick up.

Both Sides Now is a book about a high schooler named Liza who's mom has breast cancer. The family has to fight the hard times that their mother, Rebecca, has to go through. Along with Liza's family life she has a school life too. She is the writer of the school advice column and best friends with a girl named Rory who has been a girlfriend to about every boy in their Texas high school. You may not get the idea that this is a very good book, but I recommend it to everyone!

In this autobiography Roald Dahl (author of Matilda, James and the Giant Peach, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and much more)tells about his life. My favorite Idol winner so far. This C.D. is, like Avril Lavigne's "Under My Skin", mainly about breaking up. It includes "Breakaway", "Since U Been Gone", "Behind These Hazel Eyes," and, my favorite, "Addicted", which you probably haven't heard. It's great, you need to hear it.

This book is very exciting. The story draws you in, and it is amazing how everything is linked together somehow, and nothing is by coincidence. This story is about "the Ancient China that never was."
